High quality Japanese food in a nice environment. I came for weekday lunch and got the premium set menu (48 GBP). The first course was some spinach leaves in a sweet sauce and it was actually better than expected. It then came with 3 pieces of sashimi which I could tell were very fresh and melted in my mouth. There was also a tiny container of tuna tartare. Lastly, for my choice of protein, I went with the black cod, which was a nice soft consistency and cooked well. The sauce on the side also added some nice sweet flavor to complement the fish. While the food was good, I do feel that 48 GBP is slightly on the high side considering the small portion sizes. The interior of the restaurant has some elegant and classy decor. That's probably why so many people come for business lunches here (plus the location). The staff are average friendliness, although the service speed was kind of slow. It was also weird that they for some reason couldn't find our reservation in their system but we were still able to get a table nonetheless. Overall, I think ROKA is a very choice choice if you are looking for a fancier Japanese meal than your typical sushi restaurant.

Food was spectacular. The best Japanese food I have ever had. My favourite restaurant. Service was top-notch. Very beautiful from entrance to toilets. Deserves 100 Michelin stars.

Excellent brunch, would recommend for big groups or if you haven't seen your friend for a while, nice place to catch up! Great experience.

They make the best food I have ever had. I never write reviews but this place deserves it. The food is so good and the staff are friendly as well.

Roka is a very good japanese restaurant. Its a modern izakaya style of japanese food. But i just honestly hate the hype for this restaurant. The overhyping it make it worse and dont compare it with other restaurants. Its honestly a very good restaurant on its own. It got its own style. I love how fancy and amazing the dessert that i had. It was worth every penny that i spent for 6 people for the dessert. Bear in mind the portion is a little bit small so you wanna order more. Dont miss the dessert though. Roka is very recommended. Cheers! I have always wondered there are so many japanese restaurants named roka though its honestly very cliche and not creative. There is also popular roka in the us. But all of the rokas that i went to worth every penny.

Enjoyed our dinner, but it was short of five stars for me. The food was overall solid, but lacked differentiation. We ordered an assortment of sushi, chicken wings and gyoza to start, then I had a rice dish for main. Whilst all was reasonably good, the best part really were the desserts. The two that we ordered to share were phenomenal and honestly, I would go back primarily for the desserts. Service was prompt, though I thought our waiter was rather curt and rough at times. All other servers were kind enough. Ambience was classy and spacious. Great for either corporate or social events. However, the noise level at times were too high. The restaurant overall felt quite crowded at peak times as well.
